Privacy requests: email kizp07@gmail.com. To remove an online account or cloud save, use our account deletion instructions. You can request deletion without reinstalling the game.
1. Who we are and what this covers
Scorched Divide ("we," "us," or "our") operates scorcheddivide.com and the Scorched Divide game, including its browser and Android versions. This policy covers information processed through the website, game, online services and support. Our privacy contact is kizp07@gmail.com.
Features differ by version. This policy describes local play, online guest sessions and optional services when they are available. It does not mean every feature is enabled in every build.
2. Information we handle
- Local progress and settings
- The game stores progress, scrap, troop upgrades, army selections, commanders, preferences and session information on your device or in browser storage. Local progress is uploaded only when a feature such as cloud saving sends it to the service.
- Online identity and account information
- Online guest play creates a player identifier and session credential and uses your commander name. When Google or Apple sign-in is available and you choose it, the service can receive a provider identifier, name, email address and sign-in token to verify your identity. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
- Online matches and community features
- We process loadouts, unit levels, faction, commander, gameplay commands, battle state, connection status, results, ratings and tournament information as needed for the online features you use. Cloud saving, when used, stores a copy of your game profile and save revision.
- Connection and technical information
- Our hosting and service providers process connection information such as IP address, request time, requested files, browser or device information, and technical errors. We use connection information for delivery, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Android update checks also request signed game files from our hosting.
- Advertising information in the Android app
- The Android app integrates Google AdMob for rewarded advertising. The Mobile Ads SDK can process IP address (including approximate location inferred from it), advertising or app identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Processing depends on the SDK, consent, settings and features in use, including test-ad builds.
- Support and purchases
- If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. Paid checkout is not enabled in the current preview. If store purchases are offered, Google Play or the applicable store handles payment details; we may receive product identifiers, purchase references and purchase status to deliver items or handle support. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
3. How and why we use information
- Run the website and game, create online sessions, find opponents and exchange battle state.
- Save or restore progress when cloud saving is used, display results and support available rankings and events.
- Prevent cheating, unauthorized access and abuse; diagnose failures and deliver updates.
- Provide rewarded ads where offered, fulfill available purchases, and answer support and privacy requests.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on providing the services you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing the game, legal obligations, and consent for processing that requires it. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
5. Local storage, cookies and advertising choices
The browser game uses local storage for saves, settings and online session information. Clearing browser site data, using a different browser, or uninstalling the Android app can remove local progress and guest access. Deleting an online account does not automatically clear your device's local save.
The marketing website does not currently include a standalone third-party analytics tracker or advertising tags. Hosting and security services may still process ordinary request data or use necessary technical storage.
In Android, you can manage your advertising identifier and related advertising controls in your device settings. Where the app presents an advertising consent choice, use that choice to manage consent. Rewarded ad viewing is optional. Device controls and declining a rewarded ad do not necessarily stop every type of SDK processing. For privacy or advertising-choice requests, email kizp07@gmail.com.
6. Retention and security
Local saves remain until you remove them or the device/browser removes them. Online accounts and cloud saves are retained while the account exists, unless removal is requested or another legitimate retention need applies. There is currently no automatic inactivity-deletion schedule for online accounts.
When an online account is deleted, the account record and cloud save are removed, the public name is replaced, and the sign-in identity is disconnected from retained player records. Limited match, ranking, tournament and anti-abuse records may remain under a player reference to protect match integrity, prevent fraud or meet legal obligations. They are not a retained cloud-save account. An identifier retained in a record is not necessarily anonymous.
Support correspondence and technical or security records are retained as needed to handle the request, operate and protect the service, resolve disputes or meet legal requirements. Restricted backup copies, where maintained, can remain until overwritten or removed. Contact us about the information retained in your particular case. Ad networks, sign-in services and stores apply their own retention rules.
We use HTTPS/WSS for communication with our services and restrict access to service data. No system or transmission is completely secure. Do not send passwords, sign-in tokens, full card numbers or identity documents in an ordinary support email.
7. Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising uses. You may also have a right to complain to your local privacy regulator.
Send requests to kizp07@gmail.com. Include enough information to identify the relevant commander or account, without sending a password or sign-in token. We may ask for proportionate verification to prevent another person from accessing or deleting your information. We handle requests under applicable law, and a request to exercise a privacy right will not itself be a reason to penalize you.
8. Account and data deletion
Follow the steps on Delete your Scorched Divide account to request deletion by email. Where account controls are available in the game, the account window also provides a Delete account action for the online account and cloud save.
Local saves, cloud saves and provider accounts are separate. To remove a local save, clear the game's app data or the browser's data for this site. This can permanently remove progress. Deleting Scorched Divide account data does not delete your Google or Apple account, and it does not automatically delete records held by an app store or ad provider.
9. Players must be 18 or older
Scorched Divide is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information through the service, contact kizp07@gmail.com so we can investigate and remove the information as appropriate.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the game, providers or privacy requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be explained through an appropriate notice. For privacy questions or requests, contact kizp07@gmail.com.
